"Luggage storage is a big problem, they only accommodate luggage storage on check out date, if you make side trip to other area near Tokyo but didn’t want to tag along all luggage, you have to arrange yourself and they don’t offer any help. It took me off guard as I expected I can store my big luggage at hotel while I make a two days short trip to Mt. Fuji. I ended up need to take all my luggage with me since the storage place near hotel won’t be open for service until 9:30 which is quite impossible to use if you take an early bus or train."
