"The area around the large shrine has both tons of shopping and dining options. Near by is the Kappa Bashi kitchen street area. Any thing you could want for either a commercial or home kitchen. A place I have returned to several times. The rooms have both kitchen and laundry in the room! "

"Beautiful view of the city, safe location and easy to access transportation. Staff is friendly and helpful and stored some of our luggage while we visited other places. "

"Ryokan was excellent and private bath (30 min) was AMAZING! Very peaceful and relaxing room. A/C made the room very comfortable and bathroom was VERY clean! The [only] downside is that it is a long walk to/from nearby/major train station (at least when I went, it was ~10-15 blocks it felt like). Good to stay for one night but location-wise, I wouldn't stay for long periods."

"Walkable to Asakusa station. Many restaurants located close by. Room was clean but found there was an odd smell in the bathroom. Did provide amenities such as lotions, shaving cream for men, toothbrushes, etc. complimentary bottled water in the room was nice to have (although the tap water is totally drinkable)."
