« Great location I hiked a short distance to the sea shore and it is very grate close to Lake District we hiked every day. We charged our electric on car on site and it made travel very easy and anxiety free. Property is much nicer then what it appears on the site full kitchen with everything you might need is very useful The wifi was a bit week on reception but handed our needs including work,VC and streaming on several devices (7) 4G also great reception lambs come all the way to your window...

« We stayed in one of their 2 Viken lodges. It was huge and easily big enough to accommodate all of us with loads of space for kids to run about and explore. Floor to ceiling Windows and and a gabled roof gave stunning views down the valley to the estuary from both floors. The accommodation was modern and stylish and even had its own sauna. « Overall the property was pretty good, it just lacked a few basic things - Washing up sponge and some laundry detergent. Being pretty isolated, these would've been really useful once arriving. The upstairs was really nice, I loved watching the lambs across the road and it gets lots of afternoon sun. »

Unfortunately the walls are very thin and l could hear the people next door talking as if they were in the same room, so even though the bed/bedding was very clean and comfortable l did not get any sleep, l could even hear a conversation someone was having on a phone. The property is advertised as a B&B but they do not do breakfasts. I would definitely stay again if the price was reduced slightly to accommodate not...

« Initial impressions weren’t good-outside the caravan was scruffy with an old dog lead lying around and uncut grass around the door. However the caravan itself was clean and very comfortable. There was a smell of gas outside as well from the canisters but we contacted the owner who very promptly got someone to sort the problem. The caravan also needs a plug in the kitchen sink and a new light in the shower room. Overall I would say the caravan is comfy but needs some TLC. »

"The hotel is beautiful from the outside and located in such a picturesque area but the room we got was a disappointment. Located on the first floor and tucked in a corner, it did not match the pictures on the site and looked rather old (except for the bathroom), with an uncomfortably slumping mattress. The view was on some sort of roof/installation that nearly blocked all light. I will add that other rooms, which I saw the next morning while housekeeping was cleaning, looked much better. I'm assuming we were unlucky due to the last minute booking but would have appreciated being warned or offered the option to upgrade (would have been fine to pay for this). "
