Anchorage Resort & Yacht Club

10/10 Excellent

"This is great location for visiting and exploring key largo. The space was clean, you have a beautiful view of the marina, there were dolphins feeding right off the docks! There’s a fun bar across the bay w live band which we enjoyed from the screened in patio! We did notice the king sized bed was sagging in the middle the first night but my husband being a handy man, flipped the mattress up and fixed the bent rail. One other thing to note, we came during king tides and the parking lot was flooded, us being from the pnw rain Forrest didn’t mind but some ppl might?"

Hilton Garden Inn Homestead

8/10 Good

"Nice Hotel, lives up to the Hilton name. but, the staff was unprepared for a fire alarm that went off at 4 in the morning. They didn't make any announcements. Just the blaring sound of the fire alarm blasting. There was NO ONE at the front desk to answer anyone's concerns..until it was almost over. Had this been a real fire this would have been a disaster. But luckily the guests knew what to do. Filed down the stairs peacefully, went outside. No one came out to talk to us. we waited around and then went back inside. The fire truck arrived much later. Again, had this been a real fire this would have been a disaster. It turned out someone SMOKED IN THEIR ROOM. and I PRAY that person was fined for doing that. I wish I was compensated for my loss of sleep that night. WHO can go back to sleep after that?"
