"We didn’t “stay” at the Strater Hotel we had an “experience”.The Strater Hotel is a step back in time. The Strater is the most unique hotel I’ve ever visited . The staff was excellent. The Diamond Belle Saloon and the Office Spiritorium both had live music both nights we visited them. The atmosphere was amazing and the service and food were excellent. We are looking forward to time traveling at the Strater the next time we visit Durango."

"The room temperature was very comfortable. The rooms was clean and stocked with everything I needed. On the other hand the shower contraption from the tub spigot was awful."

"Had a quick one night stay and the house was perfect! Clean and accommodating. The even set up the crib for us and asked which room to have it ready in. Really enjoyed the thoughtful local goodies in the kitchen. My daughter left her beloved stuffed animal and Jamie made sure to reunite them! Above and beyond. We will definitely be back.
