"My stay at Litan Hotel was absolutely amazing, I was a solo female traveller and I stayed for seven nights, the staff were a family of amazing, kind, loving, and helpful people that gave amazing service, they were so kind to me and made me feel very safe, on my last day they taught me back to the sarande port for free as I didn’t have money in cash to get a taxi, this is after the kindness of their heart and they were so genuinely lovely, the rooms are so modern and clean and the bathroom has the essentials already within them (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toothbrush et cetera), the breakfast was absolutely amazing and there was plenty of option every day, outside of breakfast they have a restaurant that you can have dinner from and the portion sizes were amazing for the price, the room also has a TV with Amazon prime and YouTube, and the view of the Ionian Sea is absolutely stunning, I could not recommend this hotel enough and definitely a good option for a female solo traveller, just be aware that there is no swimming pool so if that is something that you are looking for, maybe decide on how badly you would want a swimming pool, for me the promenade was around a 45 minute walk downhill and wasn’t a problem however be aware that for wheelchair users it probably wouldn’t be the best form of transport but there are taxis and buses. "The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely private beach. The room was very comfortable and looked very new. All of that was lovely and made for a really nice experience. However, this is not a 5-star hotel. The staff at the bar and restaurants are, with some exceptions, not very friendly or attentive. Most times I wanted to order something it was like begging for a favor. Even when the restaurant was empty, it was hard to get their attention. The worst part was the actual quality of what you get vs the price. All of the restaurants in the property are VERY expensive and the food/drinks are not very good. I understand most resorts like this charge a bit more, but I expected to at least get better quality for what I was paying for. Between 5-8pm you can only order snacks at the beach and everything is closed. I ordered a burger, which cost 20 euros (there’s nothing cheaper on the menu) and it was so bad I couldn’t eat it…it’s a shame because the place is truly beautiful and the rooms are very nice. The staff at the reception was also very friendly. Unfortunately, the rest of the service is just not up to the same standard of the rest of the hotel and it felt like a bit of a rip-off, to pay so much and not get the same value for money. The restaurants on the beach next to the hotel were much better and a third of the price :("

"Beautiful beachfront location in Himarë, crystal-clear water, and very friendly staff. The manager, front desk, and service team were all welcoming and pleasant. Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels quite dated and poorly maintained. Our room was very small, the shower leaked, some bathroom tiles were broken, and the oversized wooden platform around the bed made the already-small room feel even tighter. WiFi was also very poor and did not properly reach the second floor. Breakfast was disappointing, with some old-looking fruit and generally uninspiring food. The omelette station was not properly prepared and took about 30 minutes before they were ready to start cooking eggs. Food we ordered at the hotel beach club arrived cold and was tasteless. There were also many mosquitoes around the property. The beach and location are lovely, and the staff are kind, but the hotel needs much better upkeep, food quality, and attention to detail."

"We had a wonderful stay at San Angelo Luxury Resort. The whole resort is beautifully decorated, peaceful and spotlessly clean, with very comfortable and spacious rooms. The pool area is absolutely amazing and was one of our favourite parts of the hotel - beautiful, relaxing and very well maintained. Another huge plus is that the pool, restaurant and bar are open 24 hours, which we absolutely loved and made the stay feel even more relaxed and convenient. What really stood out was the service. The entire team were amazing - always friendly, helpful and attentive. A special mention to the reception team, who were incredibly welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. Housekeeping was perfect throughout our stay. Our room was always spotless and very well looked after. We also had a fantastic experience at the spa. The facilities were beautiful and relaxing, and the Thai massage was amazing - definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The location is also fantastic. There are so many amazing restaurants, cafés and shops right outside the hotel, so everything you could need is within easy walking distance. Overall, San Angelo Luxury Resort is a beautiful and peaceful place with fantastic facilities, gorgeous pools and, most importantly, an amazing team who really make you feel looked after. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!"

"Staff are sooo nice and friendly. They want to help. They welcome you with a cup of icecream. The breakfast was amazing….the best on our trip so far. So many choices. And freshen squeezed OJ. They make to order your coffee too. Our room was nice. We had a sea view and on the 3rd floor. Shocked how well the sound proofing helps keep the hustle and bustle and partying outside pretty quiet. Everything is modern and newer."
