The hotel location is great, it's only few minutes walk from the port. Hotel has its own private beach and also very nice pool. It's right on the beach so there are plenty of restaurants and shops to visit. Very clean and nicely decorated.

Excellent Hotel in Sarande - Great views

A lovely hotel in the quieter part of Sarande (all relative!). Cleanliness excellent- great rooms and indeed views. Lovely pool area. Breakfast was very good too.

Wonderful property!!! Great service all around. Iona at the front desk was incredibly helpful - especially when a personal issue had us extending our stay for an extra night. STRONGLY recommend this lovely hotel!

Awesome family owned hotel. Both the owners and the staff is super friendly. Great location near the harbour - and really nice beach and pool. Good breakfast also. Clean and fresh facilities allround.

Quiet and in a great location. Easily walkable from the port and main promenade. Lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. The front desk was friendly during the day but gruff at night. Not always around either. The seaside was very nice with beach chairs. Breakfast was fine. I have a feeling there’s not many better options in saranda. My room was big and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea but the decor was very austere - again probably more reflective of the place than the hotel. I was traveling alone and there was no bolt on the door just the electronic key lock, so I’d suggest taking your own lock just in case.

The hotel is perfectly located- a short walk from great restaurants (Ladi and Black Marlin) and supermarkets like Spar. The staff were amazing at booking us taxis, recommending places to eat or anything else we needed to enjoy our stay. We really enjoyed access to their pool, sunloungers and beach front and even found that we preferred this to some of the other beaches we visited in Saranda/Ksamil! Could not recommend enough and will definitely be coming back!

The staff at Vila Kalcuni ( especially Jona) took great care of us and speak English well. The rooms are small but thoughtfully designed and equipped. It's walkable to the port and the waterfront.

Very Pleasant Stay

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and varied every day. Staff was kind and responsive; even when they didn't speak English, they were very helpful and went above and beyond to provide for us. Although the beach is small and stony, the water is clean and warm. Overall, it was a great experience.

My wife and I had a lovely time at the Villa. The property is beautiful - it faces the sea directly. Our room came with a spacious balcony and in suite bath and jacuzzi as well. The staff at the property took great care of us and accommodated my dietary preferences as well. They recommended some great restaurants to visit as well as connected us to a very reasonable tours and travels company for tours to Ksamil and Blue Eye. Cannot recommend this villa enough if you are looking for a tranquil romantic getaway within Sarande. Will visit again!

Brilliant stay.

Brilliant stay - exactly what we were looking for. Free private beach and swimming pool is a game changer in this area. Staff always on hand to help and support: Breakfast not my favourite personally but that was ok! Great view from the balcony and close proximity to area with lots of bars and places to eat.

Nice hotel room for 3 friends, very nice private beach with food and beverages for a cost. Very helpful with late checkout for EUR 30. The breakfast was the biggest drawback, not bad but not amazing, especially for a 4 star hotel. Would recommend

Five day trip to Saranda

Just returned from an amazing break at Vila Kalcuni. This is a beautiful hotel, located in a lovely part of town, only a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal, bars, restaurants and shops. It’s positioned on a private beach with stunning views of the bay. Vila Kalcuni is a real retreat set in lovely surroundings. The pool and bar area is very new and is immaculate. In fact the entire hotel is spotless and extremely well maintained. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at ! The room was very comfortable with amazing views from the balcony. Breakfast was very good, fresh and plentiful and is served in a lovely restaurant. The manager and staff team are so friendly and welcoming, they work tirelessly and want to ensure that your stay is going well. Would fully recommend staying here and can’t wait to return.

The rooms were nice and clean but not 5 star. 3.5 -4. The location is great and pool lovely. The main thing we disliked was a lack of friendliness, and people are not helpful. Breakfast was ok but again functional, not inspiring. Our stay was okay but not a luxury resort by any standard.

Great view. Decent room. Super walkable. Not what I'd expect from a 4* hotel, but OK. The only issue was the receptionist. The only way to reach her was via email. Somehow, she made things that should be simple (finding the bus, ordered a taxi) more complicated than they should be. She was by turns unhelpful and unresponsive. Not a terrible stay, but I also would not go back there.
