"We had nice view from balcony which is the only positive point for this property. Very outdated structure that needs renovation and paint. Sheets became gray in colour instead of white due to its age. Floors were dirty, poor cleanness. Lots of noise at night from fridge, heater and something in the attic. I ended up turning off the heater in order to sleep. The heater noise is like having helicopter on the roof! Washroom and shower needs some refacing in order to make the property in standard shape. I traveled in 6 different properties in Nova Scotia and I can say this rental accommodation got the lowest rank. Staff were kind and the view was good. The restaurant in the bar was okay in the middle of no where. I would not recommend this rental accommodation to anyone."

"Great place with all the amenities and a great view! A great hostess, a fridge full of the essentials, quiet and peaceful. The only negative is that is not close to major attractions. But if you are spending a few days in the area.. superb! We visited Louisbourg, Baddeck (don't forget the Alex Bell museum) Skyline Trail, museum 3 Pignons- all very interesting but in different directions."

"It was a major communication disaster with check in. Thank you to Vrbo for assistance and the host for finding resolution. However, the monetary compensation did not change the experience. Yes, we did finally get in, and the areas were cleaned after we arrived, but it was beyond stressful. Thank you to my niece who reached out to Vrbo on my behalf and the host contacting me the next day. Also, to the caretaker we tracked down in the community that cleaned areas that needed desperately needed to be cleaned. It was not cleaned from having guests prior and appeared it had been closed for several months by the large number of dead flies"
