"This was exactly what we needed! Our family of four (kids ages 9 and 11) were so comfortable here for four nights. We enjoyed watching sunsets on the beach each night, fishing from the beach, and relaxing on the deck. We explored some local spots as well as Louisburg and the Cabot Trail from here. The team was very responsive when we needed them. On our last morning we saw three deer in front of our dome!"
"My stay was perfect. Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. I booked the cottage which was a great option for privacy, the screened porch was perfect for the mornings and evenings to get away from bugs. The bed was very comfortable and so was the sofa and there were some really great finishes in the cottage to give it a luxury feel but still with the Cape Breton vibes I grew up with. It was so peaceful and I loved spending my days on the private dock and then going back in the evening to get my sunset pictures (Bras d’Or Arm of Gold). The staff were exceptional. I stayed a week so saw them come and go and they checked in periodically to see if I needed anything and were very pleasant. I needed to get away from my life and spend some time alone with just the sounds of rustling trees and the water lapping on the shore and this place was the perfect choice!! Thank you for an amazing vacation!"
"Excellent service. We did stay there on out way to Cabot trail it was a little out of the way but excellent option for our kids to run around and enjoy the property after being away for over a week and a half. They enjoyed the basketball net, pickle ball court. We also enjoyed a concert at the restaurant that night as an added surprise. Excellent view and clean. "

"Amazing home situated in a very peaceful and serene setting. We absolutely loved the views from the private beach area. The large deck was a perfect setting for enjoying meals when we werent out taking in all the sights of Cape Breton. Loved it!"
