« L'accueil a été très chaleureux . Mais malheureusement je n'ai pas compris que le petit déjeuner le lendemain matin était servi à 9h piles.Ayant eu 10 mn de retard il ne nous a pas été possible d'avoir un petit déjeuner initialement compris dans le prix de la chambre. Celle ci était propre mais extrêmement petite (8 m2).On pouvait à peine se déplacer autour du lit. La douche dans la chambre très usagée et le plafond mal nettoyé.Les toilettes se trouvaient au bout du couloir . Quand nous sommes...

« I booked two nights for myself and my 12 yr old daughter. I was looking for somewhere with a bit of character, that was away from all the noise and bustle, had a good breakfast to set us up for the day and food available in the evening. I was not disappointed. The Weary Friar was such a great little find, a proper country pub with great food (nothing too fancy), friendly staff and peace and quiet to wake up to. Will definitely head there again! »

« One of the comfiest beds I have stayed in lovely big shower. The food was magnificent.A lot of choice of local produce perfectly cooked and coped wonderfully with my allergies. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were so friendly safe car park situated in lovely village with with beautiful dark skies for viewing the stars nice and peaceful we will be back »

« We stayed in the garden suite. It was lovely. My only criticism would be that one of the legs on the futon in the living room area was broken. Our Daughter said the bed in the smaller bedroom wasn't very comfortable so we used spare duvets and a blanket to make it more comfortable. The small garden area was ideal for our dogs to be able to give them some space to toilet etc. The food in the pub was very nice, my only criticism would be the lack of vegetarian options. Overall we enjoyed our stay....

« Had a lovely stay for few days and good location to explore local area, especially Steam train with Staverton station walkable distance. Food really good and we were pleased with how well they catered for gluten intolerances. Really friendly staff. »

« Le plus : parking, bonne restauration, l'accueil Le moins : Petit-déjeuner essentiellement anglais, pas de continental. Prix exhorbitant pour le petit chien non mentionné sur le site (nous n'aurions pas pris cet hôtel si nous l'avions su). Un doute sur le change des draps »

« The Globe is perfectly located in the middle of town within walking distance to shops and waterfront. They offered a great breakfast and dinner menu alongside a cozy pub atmosphere. Housekeeping was excellent and our room was perfectly clean and restocked when we came back every day! The Sticky Toffee Pudding was Amazing! »
