« We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed at this property. The house had everything we needed and the owner was very quick to respond to all messages. He even delivered a stepstool when we inquired about one. I would give this owner and property 10 stars if I could! The house is about 20 minutes drive from the swarts bay ferry and about 25 minutes from down town Victoria. »

« We really enjoyed our stay. The decor was adorable and though we didn’t have kids or pets with us, this place catered to them! We came in for a wedding and when I asked if there was an iron Tess was quick to offer hers. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area. »

« We enjoyed this property for 2 weeks in June-July, including the Canada day holiday. Large covered deck overlooking tidal lagoon is very relaxing. Enjoyed the Canada Day events in Sidney and riding bikes to Swartz Bay ferries for day trips. We may well return next summer. If we go again we would check tide table ahead of time for afternoon paddleboarding. Interior of property comfortable. »

« Cannot beat these views, even from inside. Perfect location if you want a low-key, chill vacation. So many comfortable places to sit outside and see wildlife and hear the ocean. Close to Chemainus and ladysmith where we had lunch and explored the towns. Oh and the couch reclines. »

« Nice property with a great view and plenty of space. The house is nicely situated in a quiet neighborhood, has a jaw-dropping view and a private parking. However, we were disappointed that we had to contact the owner one hour prior to our arrival to get the check-in information (but she did answer quickly when we wrote to her). Also, the beddings were dirty and the door knobs around the house were sticky. There were multiple deficiencies. The upper element of the oven didn't work properly,...

« Lovely garden suite with beautiful deck/ backyard access. Loved the fire table and hot tub. Owners werent home during our stay so it was very private. 5 min drive to the lake & town. Lots of little gems (hikes, shops, swim spots etc) around this area . Picture is from hike about 20 min away from house, with great views overlooking Shawnigan lake! »
