"Ryokan was excellent and private bath (30 min) was AMAZING! Very peaceful and relaxing room. A/C made the room very comfortable and bathroom was VERY clean! The [only] downside is that it is a long walk to/from nearby/major train station (at least when I went, it was ~10-15 blocks it felt like). Good to stay for one night but location-wise, I wouldn't stay for long periods."

"This was a secure ryokan with only 3 rooms on the top floor. We could store our luggage there before our check in and for a few hours after checkout, which was really helpful. Toilet upstairs near the room but shower in the onset area (spa not traditional onset). But noisy with creaky floor at night. Smell of sewage in room at night, but not too strong and mitigated by use of aircon all night for ventilation. "作りの古さはあるとはいえ、それを補って余りあるリフォームの手際。ロケーション（大通りがすぐ近く、線路も比較的近く）ということによる音、ほぼ板一枚ガラス一枚で外の歩道と接していることによる朝の通勤時人々が行き交う音や話し声といった事を気にするかどうかが意見の分かれるところかもしれませんが、ここは都会に残された昭和の民家。懐かしさを感じさせてくれ、私はそうした外の音も環境音として受け入れられました。時代に置いてけぼりにされた小さな民家、きっと傷みも少なくなかったであろう家に息吹を吹き込んだリフォームやインテリアの工夫に脱帽です。"

"The stay was very simple and comfortable. What bothered me most was that there were no vending machines nor ice machines inside the hotel. (not informed prior to check-in) I had to go outside of the hotel and find the nearest convenience store by myself which was about 100 yards by foot."

"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"Overall clean but found a sock from prev guest. Dust, mold around windows, but disappointed. Found a wonderful izakaya 5min walking distance. 7-11 on the way to go which was convenient. Tiny diners in front of the building which we didn’t try but look good. Kabab track, too. "
