"The Museum Apartments is in a very central location in the heart of Edinburgh and around the corner from the Royal Mile. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities needed for us to feel comfortable. The room was clean and modern, however we booked the family studio which included a sofa bed that was really only a single and needed to accommodate a 13 and 16 year old. This was way too small which caused a few issues."

"We felt as if we'd traveled back in time. The grounds are oozing history, charm and elegance. It was nice with the windows open, listening to the pitter patter of students’ feet heading to class, having a morning jog or groups having a laugh together. Most pleasant staff we’ve experienced to add to the terrific stay! In particular, we had drinks before turning in for the night, at the hotel bar. Kinga and Angela efficiently served our drinks, all while flitting around getting the place cleaned and set up for the morning crew. We had an excellent chat about a multitude of subjects and a great laugh. What a pair of wonderful Ladies! Honestly, we didn’t expect to have such a great visit. Clean rooms, common areas, modern and the breakfast was 5\*! Our server, Sancha didn’t blink an eye when I ordered my fussy breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly and the black pudding/haggis stack was worth the visit alone! I would highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!"
