The gite is just right for a relaxing holiday for a couple- quiet, comfortable, and well located for exploring the Deshaies area & west coast of Basse Terre. We particularly enjoyed walking the coastal trail from Deshaies north to Grande Anse & beyond to beaches to the north, and swimming/snorkelling at local beaches."

"Pour commencer un accueil trĂšs chaleureux de nos hĂŽtes. Planteur dans le frigo et petit dĂ©jeuner prĂ©vu pour le lendemain.... une trĂšs belle attention. Les cottages sont parfaitement situĂ©s sur basse terre. Il y a une multitude de choses Ă  faire .., randonnĂ©es et plages de rĂȘve. Si il y’a un endroit oĂč aller c’est bien chez Sandrine et Claude. Nous nous sommes rĂ©galĂ©s !"

"Clean rooms with beautiful views. This place was perfect for what we were looking for- enjoying local cuisines, a place to relax, activities offered (but not absolutely necessary). After a week, staff recognizes you and makes you feel special. Shout out to the bar staff: Daria, Djara, Darryl, Gunnar- for smiling and laughing even during the busy times; our favorite dinner server, Bianca, who is so kind and friendly; Alex, who had such knowledge of the area on our rum tour, and greeted us every time after. It was just the thing we needed to escape and really focus on living and get back to the basics."
