"Top notch hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Pools were lovely especially the sea edge pool. Very good buffet breakfast. Turn down service with a small gift every night was a thoughtful touch ."

"Fabulous hotel. We splashed out on a sea view suite and it was well worth the extra. The hotel is split either side of a road with a bridge walkway so it made a real difference being on the coast side, overlooking the pool. The room size was generous for two friends sharing. With a lovely kitchenette area that was exceptionally equipped; toaster, fridge, hob, dishwasher, everything you need if you want to do the odd meal in your room…… not that you’d need to. The bar/restaurant on site was good and not over priced, and there were so many great restaurants within walking distance. The pool area was lovely, plenty of shaded spots and easy access directly into the sea. Overall, we had the most wonderful mini break. Definitely worth spending on the suite!!!!"

"Amazing location, in perfect location for discovering Funchal. Staff are outstanding and breakfast buffet is excellent! Our room was very clean, nice decor and super comfy bed! Only negative for hotel is there are no views from your room (since we were out all day exploring this didn’t matter at all)"

"We had a great stay here while on our honeymoon! The beds were comfortable and the staff was wonderful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the rooftop pool - although there was never anyone working in the bar at the rooftop pool, but that didn't effect us. The location was convenient for us and we would stay here again!"

"Very nice and spacious hotel room. Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating whenever we had any questions or requests. The breakfast buffet was great too with lots of variety to choose from, as well as staff members clearing tables and providing utensils very quickly."
