« This is a guest house beside the owner's place. The room was clean and spacious and the weather at the end of March was so comfortable that we didn't have to switch on the AC at night. « The coqui are LOUD! The bed was fairly hard. The shower was tiny with only luke warm water. Alex was a great host, communicated well and even walked to the end of the road and helped us find his place in the dark. If you’re only planning to sleep here it’s ok (be mindful of the first 2 sentences). Otherwise “lounging comfortably” is not an option - bed and 2 dining chairs. Location was good. Not too far away from Volcanoes NP, and near enough to Hilo. »

« I booked this property less than 24 hours before my arrival. The hist was very responsive and accommodating. The house is just as pictured. We got plenty of use out of the hammock out back. It was so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed. The air conditioner in the master was nice, although with a nice breeze, it wasn't needed all night. Would definitely stay again. »

"La chambre est grande et spacieuse. Elle paraissait bien propre . Toutefois le 2e jour nous avons trouvé des blattes. Nous ne savions pas que dans cet établissement le ménage n’était pas fait , pas grave il suffit juste d’être prévenu. L’environnement est très très décevant, beaucoup de sdf, beaucoup de bruits la nuit à cause de personnes qui font des courses de voitures et qui discutent bruyamment. Pas trop de lieux pour dîner. Enfin pas le top.. point positif proche de l’aéroport."
