![The Ocoee Whitewater Center, near Ducktown, Tennessee, United States, was the canoe slalom venue for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta,[1][2] and is the only in-river course to be used for Olympic slalom competition. A 1,640 foot (500 m) stretch of the Upper Ocoee River was narrowed by two-thirds to create the drops and eddies needed for a slalom course. Today, the course is watered only on summer weekends, 34 days a year, for use by guided rafts and private boaters. « It’s our third time staying as the location is perfectly situated for two events we go to in the same weekend. The room is very comfortable and there are several thoughtful touches by the owners. We travel with our dog and the fenced in yard is perfect. Our dog also loved the basket of dog toys to play with. Water pressure/temperature and WiFi all great. »

« We were so impressed with our stay. One of the best vacations of our life!!! The treehouse was so cute and fun. It was clean, easy to access, comfortable mattress and have everything we needed. The firepit was really nice as well. The hosts were there whenever we needed any help. They treated us like family instead of guests. They even puppy sat for me while my son and I went to ride the blue ridge train. We loved the sauna and cold plunge, disc golf and hiking trails. The bathhouse was nice and...
