Clean and spacious close to cockermouth and lots of walking routes in the near vicinity.Cara a was very bright even at night curtain were really thin & on day of arrival we couldn’t park next to where we were staying straight away due to work in the road inside the park.We still had a lovely stay

Wonderful stay at Solway Escape.

Wonderful stay at Solway Escape.A beautiful, spacious lodge, well equipped with all the essentials you need. The lovely welcome pack, complete with information about the owner and local attractions, added a personal touch. The lodge was immaculately clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable – a rare find these days and there was plenty of storage. Although, we didn’t use them, there is a dishwasher and washing machine available. The kitchen had all the equipment need for a cozy night in cooking. Highly recommended. Thank you
