"What a perfectly quaint and serene B&B. Jean and Dave have truly created a masterpiece to clear the mind and enjoy a special getaway with your significant other. The grounds were a gardener’s paradise and our room was so cozy we felt like it was home. It was triangulated between Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Boyne City - perfect location. Do yourself a favor and stay here, you won’t regret it!"

"This is an authentic Lake Michigan cottage experience. The beach is amazing and peaceful, and easy to access. The house is spacious, charming, and quirky, and comes well supplied with everything you need. We spent most of our time on the incredible deck overlooking the lake. Note that there is no air conditioning; we found the lake breezes kept the house cool at night when it was in the mid-80s during our stay."

Weathervane Terrace Inn and Suites

"Great location across the bridge, had a “suite” with a lake view. Frig, microwave, in room coffee maker, separate living room with duraflame fireplace, clean. This was a motel like experience, but quite comfortable. Need to keep slider glass clean for the view. While it seems pricey for the rooms, it was comfortable, clean, less expensive than other options in the area and you are paying for the location to downtown Charlevoix. BTW there are some nice benches to watch the sunset behind the back building."

Charlevoix House - The Northside

"Stayed a night at Charlesvoix House (Northside) on our way to a family funeral in Sault Ste Marie. This pretty town is walkable and worth a stopover. Writing this review to thank our host Terry. She reminded us of the treasures we had discovered at many bed and breakfasts in our travels in the 80s and 90s, before the days of airbnbs and sterile Wyndhams. She shared insights of the town including the story behind the 380 potted flower decorations on the town roads. She cooked muffins with fresh blue berries brought from the farm by her son, her coffee was delicious and we appreciated the fruit salad and variety of yoghurts. All set on a table where we shared time with a lovely couple from Kalamazoo that gave us a cultural rundown on Michigan and the good news the fire-caused smoke blowing in from Canada would be cleared up by the time we got to the Soo Locks. She gave us a bag of blueberries for the road…. We didn’t ask. She just was Terry, a true host. Thank you."

"This was the perfect place for me and my family while visiting family in Petoskey. Extremely close to both Charlevoix and Petoskey. Unfortunately we were not able to take advantage of the backyard of the sitting airways and the lake because of the smoke in the area but it looked wonderful! Definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a really cute place to stay in northern Michigan!"

"Our stay at this property was genuinely enjoyable. The home itself was comfortable and perfectly adequate for a relaxing visit, but the true standout was the location. Being so close to downtown Charlevoix made everything incredibly convenient, from restaurants to shops to the waterfront. Easy access to the beach was a major bonus and added so much to our trip.One of the biggest highlights was how close the property was to Castle Farms. My daughter chose that venue for her wedding, and staying just minutes away made the entire experience smooth and stress free. It was wonderful to have a place where family could gather, get ready, and enjoy the weekend without worrying about long drives or complicated logistics.Overall, this property offered exactly what we needed: comfort, convenience, and unbeatable proximity to everything that mattered during our stay. I would happily book again."
