"We recently stayed one week at this hotel and were disappointed with the experience. First of all, it is clearly not a five-star hotel as it is listed on travel websites. The reception was cold and lacking courtesy. We were asked to leave our luggage in the lobby so it could be brought up to our room. After 45 minutes, we had to go back downstairs because the luggage had still not been delivered, and we were told that the staff were very busy. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The room we paid for had a sea view, but the windows were very dirty. In addition, on the beach in front of the hotel there is a large construction site, and from the window we could see two cranes obstructing the view. The carpet in the hallways is old and dirty, and the exterior elevator has very dirty windows. The terrace on the 15th floor is completely closed and under construction. Breakfast is very limited and far from what one would expect from a five-star hotel. We would certainly not return to this hotel and would recommend avoiding it."

"My boyfriend and I went to celebrate my birthday and I would like to say the entire resort is beautiful 10 out of 10 if you want some thing that is serene private and luxurious where do you feel like you don’t even have to lift a finger this is the place to stay. The food was delicious. The drinks could’ve been a little stronger, but overall the experience was great. Cholon was across the water so if you want a fun fast pace activity to do that’s a place to go. Just be mindful it’s a little money hungry over there, But you can always negotiate. One of the days we went to the city of Cartenga; The hotel scheduled transportation for us to get there and back and was very communicative when we were off the island. Which we greatly appreciated. The beds are the most comfortable I've slept in. The pillows, mattresses and pillows are so plushy and inviting. All employees go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Another top thing is the silence at night. It's soundproof and we get to sleep in peace. My husband and I can't wait to go back! "
