The neighborhood seems very safe and the house seemed very clean. The swamp cooler is loud but keeps the house cool all day even in late July. The beds were comfortable and the washer/dryer worked great. There were some small issues: the rain leaked through the roof in the room with the TV. I assume this is a known issue since there was clear pre-existing damage. Some of the doors in the house stick quite badly (the hinges are loose or perhaps the frame is not square). This is particularly annoying in the case of the bathroom, since the noise can wake everyone up at night if one person goes to the bathroom. Lastly, we encountered one very large cockroach. ##### David K.
