"What are the things most people ask …. The room was comfortable - had a desk and desk chair - has a safe - hair dryer and towel warmer - note NO AC - but we were fortunate the weather wasn’t terribly hot - we opened the windows. "This was a unique hotel in the center of Zermatt that was easily accessible. The room was quaint and nicely laid out. The only problem we had was the smoking area was directly below our window and we could not keep our window open because of the smoke going into our room and the loud talking by the smokers. We asked for a new room and were immediately assisted with sincere apologies. The restaurant inside the hotel was wonderful. We would eat there again if this was a restaurant at home."

A free local bus allowed access to downtown but service ended at about 7:30PM and the walk back would be pretty uphill and take half an hour.
