"Cleanliness 5 *.. Room lovely with nice size balcony overlooking lakeside although views limited due to hillside that the hotel overlooks was in full foliage. Breakfast brilliant, and location a few minutes drive from the quayside of Bowness and therefore very quiet at night. Staff very helpful. ."

"I was sceptical about this hotel after reading some of the other reviews after we had booked, however we found the hotel to be great in every single way from the helpfulness of the staff, to the breakfasts, central location, room size, great job by the cleaning staff and the Spa and Pool. Definitely looking forward to staying again."

"Great location with free parking. Very friendly & helpful staff. The room we stayed in was on the top floor, which meant it was an unusual design, felt cramped. The en-suite had a very small shower and the extractor fan sounded like a tractor! Just feel like it needs a bit of maintenance/modernisation/love."

"Couldn’t fault the hotel .. Staff helpful and friendly especially the breakfast staff .. breakfast was amazing .. Beautiful clean hotel and gardens so peaceful , bit of a hike uphill back from the lake but was worth it for the surroundings . The walk down is lovely .. Would definately stay again . Little tip: it was only 2 pounds for an uber back as we found out on the last night"

"At last, a hotel that ticks all the boxes! You know, however good the hotel, there’s always something not quite right. Not here. Warm welcome, polite and attentive staff, first call food (the breakfast is amazing), comfortable bedroom, on site parking. Definitely staying here again"
