Just being there alone was enough, and then everything else: Owners and staff so helpful and personable, breakfast was amazing, we just walked down the street right into the Homestead and had dinner, mattress was even amazing (back problems)! "It was a great stay but the walls are thin .. you can here people talking and partying though the night .. I book there for a quite retreat... but over alll if they have a wedding or conference good luck on getting some rest or relaxation.. for the money paid not worth it booking it again... "

"Katie greeted us as we arrived. She introduced us to the property inviting us to walk the perimeter to enjoy the animals and the mountain views at the crest of the hill. The Firefly Springhouse was super clean and charming. The interior layout is efficiently designed without feeling cramped or crowded. Nothing was extra and everything we needed was there. The Firefly Springhouse is tastefully spare, homey, and the temperapedic style bed was so comfortable we both slept great. We enjoyed walking the property and the variety of animals on this small farm. This unusual little gem was the perfect place for us to reset overnight; we had a very happy, relaxing stay at The Firefly Springhouse."

"This property rates at the TOP of the list. Its as elegant as the Greenbriar and Homestead in terms of the property and rooms. It is stunning. Martha is a wonderful host and she is so elegant in her special touches....antiques, crystal, place settings, even in the room crystal glasses with little doilies on top with crystals weighted down. Magnificent Crystal Chandeliers. Historic touches everywhere. You will want to come back! "

"Easy check-in, responsive host, clean beautiful home. Celebrated my wife’s birthday with two other couples, and we had plenty of space. It was well equipped with towels, and paper for our stay. Kitchen was also fully equipped - very nice. Primary access has a decent amount of steps, good to know if you visit with elderly or disabled - but it was not a problem for our party."
