"We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was exactly what we needed—beautifully decorated, spotless, and everything felt brand new. The location was perfect for walking into downtown Marlinton, the outdoor space was great, and the host was very responsive. We would happily stay here again"

Property located just off the highway close to restaurants and a Walmart. Basic property, but the rooms were very clean, and the staff were very accommodating.

This property is beautiful inside and out with only the finest furnishings in every room. The beds are super comfortable and the owner has not missed any detail in making sure every room is equipped with anything anyone could want. It's a bed and breakfast but feels much more like a high-end country inn overlooking gorgeous Virginia scenery. Hill Crest is charming, full of history and comfortable - all at the same time. The owner/host is an excellent chef and makes incredibly delicious...

I really love staying here. It is so quaint to get the room key and check in from the diner. The diner has some great sfaff and the food is very filling. They make your food when you order it. It's nice to have good food that's not fast food. The prices are very reasonable as well.

Last minute trip to spend one night in Virginia. What a blessing we did that!! Gristmill Inn is wonderfully managed, Watermill Restaurant is one of the best restaurant which was a pleasant surprise. Chef is creative and understood with his ingredients. The relax ambience of the dinning room with its original mills is popular with guests. WMF tableware is very impressive. Only a handful of serious restaurateur are willing to invest in good quality flatware not to mention German made. We...
