Awesome place to just get away to . . . only negative is the steep hill to climb and that the dock didn't have a ladder. Other than that nothing but praise for cleanliness and location. Owners were super . . . would recommend to my family and friends.

Wonderful peace of heaven!!! Great cabin with access to the New River with dock. Enjoyed everything about this cabin. Everything you need for sure in the kitchen and super clean. Enjoyed the deer in the yard, fishing, kayaking and just relaxing. Don't hesitate, just book it!

Totally Relaxing

The property was excellent. It meet every one of our expectations. In the morning the sounds of the birds woke us up, and at night the fireflies said good night. The property is 1/2 way from Philadelphia to where my children live between Nashville, Savannah, and Chattanooga. Can’t wait to come back.

A magical getaway!

Perfect place to get away for my birthday. Spent most of the time on the river but the cabin was a perfect place to relax after a day of adventuring. Loved the windows that gave a beautiful view of the river and having kayaks provided for river use was the icing on the cake! 10/10 would stay here again!

Little piece of heaven

Beautiful property, comfortable and well appointed cabin right on the New river. Fishing, kayaks, wonderful porches for sipping coffee while the birds serenade you. Wonderful jetted tub, fire pit, and grill make it easy to relax at this fabulous cabin. Very responsive hosts make sure you have everything you need for a special getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary here, and will certainly be back

Great place to run

My wife and I were celebrating 31 years of marriage. The cabin was very nice and very thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities you might need. We brought our Labrador with us. There was lots of space for him to run. The view was outstanding. It was very private and relaxing. We had a great time and we would definitely recommend the cabin to friends Joe & Laure

Just a really great property!

I had a 2 night stay with my dog at this property. I needed an opportunity to kind of disconnect and recharge. The property is so well maintained. I had a special request that the owners were happy to accommodate. I would absolutely stay here again.

2nd visit to Fireflies, both times to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Dog walks on the New River Trail and visited a couple nearby vineyards. This made for a relaxing weekend. Like last year, the deer are entertaining to watch and they nearly come onto the back porch.
