"Ocean was visible from our room and shops/stores/food is close by within walking distance. It was an amazing stay, we did have the Lite room so it was not updated like the others but that didn’t matter to us. ROD was very helpful and always had a great attitude, he was very accommodating and we will definitely be back! Mahalo! "

"Wonderful!!...2 bedrm/2 bathrm with huge balcony for BOTH bedrooms/living room.....that's our view in the photo........check-in is at Regency 3 blocks away, but they brought luggage to unit....pool is next door at the "Reef"....It's on the sandy beach but ROCKY bottom 20 yards out in water - booo!!.....beach side restaurant in the "Reef" is a rip off. Eat breakfast down the street..........."

"I’m not sure if this is the norm now but the room did not have a microwave oven. The tub floor did not have any “grip” to it so it became slippery when taking a shower. Although we were informed that the room only gets cleaned every other day, it did not, until we asked for it on the 3rd day. Ice machines were located on every even floor, and water fill stations were on the 1st & 3rd floors. We did enjoy that as part of staying at the hotel, we could rent (for free) 3 items a day from the nearby Beach Candy shop (chairs, umbrellas, radio, etc). The hotel staff was friendly and offered the extra option to communicate with them via their text system. We went on some tours and were picked up right in front of the hotel. Overall we had a good experience during our stay. "

Rooms a bit dated and the heavy winds/rain entered our sliding windows, soaking the nearby carpet. Gym modest but nice. Complimentary breakfast average. No restaurants on the property but two malls a short walk away, one with a great lineup of Asian eateries (Thai/Lao/Viet, Filipino, Chinese, Japanese). The walk during the rainstorm got us soaked but the food was great! I wouldn't stay there for a vacation in Honolulu but it was quite adequate for what we needed -- a short stay over near the airport."
