"This property is in a very good location but is very outdated. The furniture in the room was super old. There was no heating so we were pretty cold at night. Our bathroom was extremely small, basically taking a shower while sitting on the toilet. Stuff though was extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was simple but very nice. This place is within walking distance from everywhere !!! I might stay there again but definitely would take my own towels, blanket, pillow and warm pajamas. "

"This property is just as advertised! Beautiful property just south of Varenna. Everything was updated and clean. The patio is private and a great spot to enjoy the view of Lake Como. Marco and his wife are fantastic hosts. Marco even came and picked us up from the train station upon arrival! Pictures don't do it justice....the views of the lake are incredible from this property. "The property was lovely and so nice to stay so close to the lake but also be a 2 minute walk removed from the lake walk. The hotel staff were very helpful and let us check out the evening before so we did not need to rush the morning of our departure to return the keys. "
