"So the plastic Cheerios containers had ants. I brought several of these containers back to my room. I didn’t realize there were ants on them, but when I looked at the bottom of them, there were ants how awful. The kids screaming in the pool was just hideous, and of course, people are going back-and-forth by the door cleaning people not taking care to try and be quiet and kids once again yelling it was quite an awful experience left quite an indelible impression and on my last night there, I just got another hotel room at another place and return the keys and the next day. Just awful. And all the reviews said it was wonderful.,, that’s not true"

"What’s great. Location. What everyone needs to know is (no fault of hotel as they all are) it’s right on a busy road between the hotel and beach"

"This is my second time staying at this location. Clean rooms, nice staff, and a very short walk to the beach and short drive or bike ride to the wharf, Funk Zone, West Beach, and Harbor. I brought my beach cruiser bikes this time and they allowed me to lock them up to the pole (or anywhere I wanted) right in front of my room. The only downside to this second stay was that there was a weird sewage smell in the bathroom and I didn’t think there was anything they could do about it, so I didn’t report it. It wasn’t too bad though, so I managed. I will continue to stay here anytime I visit SB, which is often. "

"The staff was great, especially the younger female with a long brown hair. She was just incredibly helpful and pleasant. The outside and inside the restaurant are just beautiful. The room was comfortable and the view from the room was wonderful as it was a view of the barbecue area of the pool and all the gorgeous palm trees. I mean, it was a very Hawaiian tiki theme. Will definitely come back. "
