"We loved staying at this beautiful historic hotel. Loved the guys in the band who played in the bar, loved the Office restaurant, and wonderful coffee in the morning, the great location. Our only complaint was the unexpected add-on of $20 when we checked in for the upkeep of the building? The girl that checked us in told us it was for the band and the hot tub and then the next people that came who were very unhappy about the charge were told it was to pay for employees and the upkeep of the building. It was a really strange experience and unfortunately left us with a bad feeling when we signed up to stay at this beautiful hotel there was no mention of this extra charge. It did not feel professional."

"Clean and comfortable, close to river walk, owner very friendly and helpful, nice walk into town, cozy hang out area in lobby with coffee. We would stay here again! "
