"Great stay for me and my family and two dogs - great location a short walk from Sidmouth front and beach. Friendly, helpful service throughout - particularly from young waitress at breakfast who was so cheery, pleasant and helpful. Really loved Sidmouth and this hotel."
"We had a sea view room accessed via lift. All the staff are polite and approachable nothing is too much to ask.
The ocean waves lulled us to sleep and woke us ready for a new day. The town of Sidmouth is quaint by modern standards which only adds to it charm. A return visit is very likely. Many thanks Sidmouth."
"A very good visit. The hotel has adapted extremely well to the new Covid 19 rules. The buffet breakfast that used to be served is not permitted, but the replacement table service breakfast was outstanding. Thoroughly recommended. "
"Wonderful place to stay. Truly exceptional standards of food and service.
Sitting in the dining room with the piano being played in the background is quite special - a little bit like travelling back in time to an era with style! "

"We had a wonderful experience at this property. The location is perfect. We traveled via train and the station is literally right across the street. As for the hotel it has wonderful ocean views. It is the perfect starting point for a walk along the waterfront. I am a huge Agatha Christie fan so this was the perfect place to stay and start our experience. The hotel is very grand - like the name - but also very inviting and comfortable. All of the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend!"
