"A nice stopover on way from Niseko to Sapporo. Lovely large rooms. Did not love everything from the kaiseki dinner but the beef sukiyaki was good. Booked the private cypress bath so that we could bathe as a family but i would skip this next time and head straight for the public bath on the high level - large with a view of the forest."

"Easy access, a few minutes walking from Otaru station, lovely older guy, cooked amazing breakfast, very good guest house, Will stay again!"

"The host was incredibly attentive and accommodating of everyone's needs, despite how many of us were there. She was very hospitable and even stayed up until midnight one night in order to check in some late-arriving guests. Communication was never a problem either as she speaks English very, very well and explains house rules very well."

"Right in the heart of the Susukino area. Very close 3-5 walk to the JR station. The room is standard Japanese size. The walls can be a cleaner though. There is a public bath on the lobby floor for those who are interested."

"They give you all a good breakfast and excellent coffee free for most of your stay. The public bath is good, can and easy to use. My only problem was that the bed was very hard, but then I have upper and lower back problems."
