"What an amazing place to stay. Very clean, airy and well equipped with those extra touches that you don't find in other properties. Comfy bed too! Beautiful views and it was so quiet staying there. The detailed information sheet from the host was very helpful. Highly recommended property - we loved it!!"

The owners were easily contactable and able to sort a quick problem with the smoke alarm.
My kids loved the attic space and charm of the cottage!"

"This house is on a quiet street and more spacious than it looks. We were very comfortable here for a week. The local people were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the beach which is spotless, the must-do funicular railway and tea and cake at the tea rooms next to the Italian Gardens. We also took trips to Staithes, Whitby, Runswick Bay and by train to Durham. The weather was mixed but didn't hinder our enjoyment."

"Lovely stay as always. Room is a good size, clean, comfortable and plenty of tea, coffee etc. Breakfast was good and enjoyed the local kippers. Food in the evening was lovely and chips best we've tasted and a good atmosphere in the bar in the evening.
Handy for so many beautiful places in the area both coastal and inland and of course the gorgeous Staithes where the accommodation is situated which has amazing walks."
