« Very convenient base to access all interesting spots in the Mackinac/St Ignace area. Restaurants, Grocery, kids’ park are within minutes. Very quiet for restful relaxation. A couple minor minuses; the oven would not heat up past 130, that made our home away from home cooking a bit interesting. A dishwasher would have been handy especially when staying with children. Overall, we all like the place and would book again. »

« Is a good option when you are in a budget like we did, it was cheaper than the rest around us. i would change the mattress and add the tv. Other than that is clean, is a walking distance from everything, downtown, taking the boat for the Island, has ac,park everything is right there. »

« We truly enjoyed this property! We stayed at the Bluff Beach Hutch. The home is huge, had a wonderful view of the water and a beach just a few steps away, with privacy! « I booked this originally thinking it was a little cabin somewhere, I didn't think motel rooms would even be on VRBO. I was a bit disappointed when I realized, but we gave it a shot. The location was spectacular, loved being able to walk to all the shops and for coffee. The room, not great. The 2 beds were totally different, one was so springy/bouncy and the other was more stiff/supportive. The bathroom shower had some mold looking spots in the tub so we didn't use the shower. « This cabin is well furnished and appointed. However, the fishing on Douglas Lake was a disappointment to say the least. First, the lake is difficult to navigate because its depths vary so dramatically. We had to be very careful just pulling our boat away from the dock each day. Second, we are experienced fishermen but nothing we tried worked; we caught a few "aquarium-sized" perch each day and that was it.
