« We had the most wonderful stay at East View – it truly felt homely, comfortable, and cosy from the moment we arrived. The quaint charm of Garrigill made our trip so special, and even though the weather was harsh, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more, especially spending evenings by the fireplace. Lana was absolutely wonderful in taking care of us. She went above and beyond to organise a delicious vegan breakfast and made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable. Her warm hospitality really...

« A fantastic stay. The lady who runs Powter Howe could not have been friendlier and was very patient with me on my arrival, including with my sad attempts to get my car into the place! This is a beautiful, proper country house - very spacious room, lovely breakfast. It is very quiet here. The log fire was amazing and it was great to spend a quiet evening here away from it all! I would stay again. »
