It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. Large beds and great showers. Very quiet at night so we slept well. Large private garden. Warcop is a lovely village with good walks along the river & streams. The Chamley Arms around the corner was very welcoming but we just missed out on being able to eat there as they are starting serving meals in July. However we enjoyed the food and friendly welcome at the Sandford Arms in the next village, Sunday lunch was particularly good. We loved it here! The cottage was larger than we expected, especially the bedrooms, and beautifully presented throughout. After a very enjoyable walk, (Appleby/Rutter Falls/Great Ormside/Appleby approx 7 miles+ and well worth doing), it was so lovely to relax in the warm, cosy lounge with soft lighting and homely features. During our stay, we received an email to check we were settled in and had everything we needed.
