"Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the hotel. One thing that could definitely be improved is the requirement to sign a receipt every time you order food or drinks, even though the resort is all-inclusive. Having to stop and sign paperwork throughout the day becomes inconvenient and takes away from the relaxing vacation experience. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at the Sea Breeze restaurant with a waiter named Juan Sebastian. We were dining with our family, including a 3-year-old child, and it took a very long time before he even came to our table to offer us water or take our order. Once the food arrived, several items were incorrect. My husband and I both ordered our steaks well done, but they were served very undercooked and red inside. We could not eat them. My daughter ended up eating my steak, while my husband returned his completely untouched because it was not cooked as requested. The most frustrating part was that Juan Sebastian still charged us for the steak that had been returned because it was prepared incorrectly, so we ended up paying for a meal that was never eaten. He also tried to charge another member of our table who had the all-inclusive package. We had to strongly object before he finally removed that charge. A simple apology and a willingness to correct the mistakes would have made a huge difference. Instead, the entire interaction felt unprofessional and unnecessarily stressful. "

"Location is great, many restaurants and gift shops in the area. Staff was amazing, they were kind and quick to help with any request. We loved Ashanti. Some people complained about the noise in the other reviews, we were on the second floor and didn’t hear much noise. The second floor also had AC in the hallway, not sure if that’s the way it was for all floors. There was an ice/water machine that was convenient. The coffee shop opened early and the coffee was great. Hotel is not super fancy or new, but the other things made up for that. We didn’t try the breakfast there, or go to the pool but we did check it out and it was a nice little area. Parking was limited but we didn’t rent a car, something to keep in mind if you do. The beach had about 15 umbrellas. They started setting up around 8:40-9am. Lots of restaurants also near the beach area. They do offer the golf cart option to shuttle to the beach. Overall good experience. No major complaints."
