There were 3 problems:
1-Expedia listed a non-working phone number for the property. I therefore could not contact the property for any late check-in instructions and transfers from the airport as noted in Expedia’s information for the property.
2-Because the property office is open daily from 10a-12p (2-hours) for check-in; I had to change my afternoon flight...

The room smelt of cigarette and the maintenance guy tried to say it was the air freshener he used. In fact I think it may have been that they allowed smoking right outside the windows of the room. "This hotel is a small boutique property steps away from the Arena di Verona. There are amply restaurants, museums and historical sites within easy walking distance. — The property is expertly run, with a competent, charming and professional team at the front desk, concierge and housekeepIng. We have been to Hotel Milano twice and each time our room included an outdoor space. Also, the terrace bar on the rooftop is lovely with priceless views of the ancient Arena."
