"This was our 5th time at DBL. we love it so much. The only negative is the mattress is losing its firmness. It has a hammock shape when you lay down. "
"Our stay at the Best Western was enjoyable. The room was clean and was very spacious. Breakfast was well stocked and dining area was well taken care of. The location was very convenient and accessible to things in Townsend. "

"Check in and out process was seamless. Hosts were great and easy to communicate with. Location of the home in the complex was super convenient right across from the pool and gym. We were across from the bear den so saw the bears a lot. Overall Great vacation!"
"Front desk and breakfast staff very nice and professional. Plenty of breakfast options. Room exceptionally clean and comfortable. The extra sink in the bathroom was great!! Looking forward to stay again next trip. "
"First night there was a little loud from guests upstairs but other than that our stay wad great. Got to see the unexpected bear in the dumpster. Hopefully next time we can stay longer than 2 days"
LUXURY Creekside Story Book Cottage 5 Secluded Acres of Lush FOREST & STREAMS
10/10 Excellent
"Bears, birds and butterflies, OH MY! Truly a storybook cabin. It’s tucked into the forest and surrounded by wildlife. We saw 3 bears, one walked up while we were sitting by the hot tub. That was exhilarating! Zero interest in us. Hummingbirds right outside the big living room windows which are shaded by the surrounding tall trees. A tree had fallen in the driveway when we arrived and the owners were quick to get someone to remove it. Extremely informative direction with pictures. The drive in is a little treacherous but I think that adds to its allure. It’s secluded but not far from civilization. There was a food truck park in the small town maybe 10 minutes away. Food was great! Will definitely go back for a weekend getaway and I’m not normally a repeat customer even if I enjoy myself. I like variety but this place is perfect if you want to connect with nature:)"
"My family and I loved our time here. It offered us exactly what we were looking for. It was a great location to enjoy some time in Gatlinburg while offering good access to GSMNP which was the main reason for our stay. Most importantly it offered a quiet retreat after action packed days. Check in, check out, and communication was great throughout the process. If we find ourselves back in the area, we wouldn’t hesitate to go back. "
"Absolutely beautiful house that met all our needs for our family of 11 whose ages ranged from 4 to 64. The house is large with many gathering areas and so many built in activities. This is the 6th home we have rented in the midwest and proved to be our favorite. There were a few broken items but the property manager was outstanding. The view was beautiful. The drive up the hill was paved and doable. The hot tub was great at night. The kitchen was well stocked and there were some little snacks there when we arrived. Visits from adorable bears on the deck were exciting! The bedding was comfy and towels were fluffy. "
