"The cleanliness of the hotel was great! As soon as you enter the property you can smell freshness. Maybe because pets are allowed here they want to ensure it doesn’t smell unsavory. The pool was very clean. The outside tables could be wiped down every so often. The staff were great and very accommodating. The tub in our suite had a visible chip and for the price I personally want to see no imperfections. The suite, however, was very modern and in good condition. The only hiccup was the breakfast. They ran out of food and coffee both mornings we attended. It appears that due to a lack of staff or maybe too many guests the hotel was not able to keep up with the demand. Overall, a great stay!"
"This hotel was perfect for our long weekend away to cekebrate our anniversary. The room was beautiful with a fantastic layout and lots of room. A balcony with 2 chairs. And a bathroom with both a shower and separate tub and double sink. The little details made it special: a bottle of champagne welcome; a free wine happy hour in the lobby: an infrared sauna on the top floor; great personalized service at the front desk; live potted plant in the room; great coffe machine and tea selection and it is walkable to Lewes beaches and downtown (less than 1/2 a mile to the beach and 2 blocks to town). If we come back to Lewes- this is our go to place!"
"The host, John, is a great communicator. The house is very well stocked and set up. The beach was so close and we loved the bay and Cape Henlopen State Park. The screened in porch was pretty and relaxing and the outdoor shower was great. This was our first trip to Lewes and we didn’t get to spend time in the town but it looked very charming. We bought wonderful fresh bread and cold cuts and Lloyd’s market. A lovely visit. "

"Our family all loved the house and the location was perfect. We especially enjoyed the easy access to the beach having a 4 year old and 16 month old child. The house was clean, well supplied in all areas, especially having beach chairs and beach items for the kids. The house is absolutely lovely as well as the rooms. The host was great with responding and addressing any questions. The only one issue was the barbeque grill which not cleaned. Therefore, other than this, the house is ideal, and would definitely rent again. We all had a wonderful week! "
"We have been coming to this area (Slaughter Beach, Broadkill Beach, Cape Henopen, Lewes Beach) for about 15 years now. Hands down, this place was our favorite! We loved being able to walk over the bridge to restaurants, shops, and ice cream. My husband was super close to walk to bait store. The pool was awesome and the view from pool and patio amazing! The apt was recently updated. We loved hanging outside on patio. Neighbors were super friendly. We hope to return! Oh, and Andrea was super accommodating with our check in!"
