"I highly recommend this hotel. Its a beautiful old building that looks like it has been renovated within the past 5 to 8 yrs. It does have some wear due to its age, but the renovations kept the old hotel's charm and grandiose feel. Conveniently located and there is a lovely restaurant and a pub downstairs. Our room was spacious and clean, included a fridge, iron and board, coffee maker and safe. The older building is very quiet."

"The hotel had a stylish vibe I liked ,upholstery on chair ,curtain details, tile etc Bathrooms were modern looking Hallways had lovely looking rugs but also dark , In the room , there was a fresh looking red food mark on the duvet of my daughters bed ,so clearly not washing all bedding , it was rolled over at the top with the sheet . This made her nights sleep not so good as she was concerned with the cleanliness of her bed. Breakfast was slim pickings , no eggs , only premade sandwiches , bagels , yogurt / and toppings were nice with fruit options Not hotels fault , but unfortunately for us , can’t control guests… one was up late 1:00 am , came in and not quiet and slamming doors talking normal instead of quietly in halls , then another family talking , yelling at their kids , slamming doors 6:30 am , walls seem thin , to hear so much noise."

"Dated exterior belies the modern , spacious rooms. Quiet, comfy bed, very modern bath. Two decent restaurants behind the hotel. Walkable to university. Staff would have gotten higher marks but the afternoon staff showed no interest in helping out of town football fans in for a game with early check in, storage of bags Etc"

"The location was great for our visit to the NY State Fair coming from the Rochester area. Easy access to the hotel from routes 90 and 690. Coffee in the lobby at all hours (check). A free breakfast that had an assortment of both hot and cold items (check). The staff were extremely helpful (check check check!). The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet...and we were facing the highway. We will definitely stay here in future State Fair visits!"
