« Amber was an excellent host, the property was clean and comfortable, we initially had an issue with the heating system due to the excessively cold weather, but this was swiftly resolved and we were soon warm and cosy!The cottage has a lovely view over Owasco lake, nice furnishings, comfortable beds and all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay. Amber had even kindly left us a delicious bottle of local wine.We would definitely recommend! »

« Decently nice room to spend night in, besides the 10+ spiders we found mostly in the bathroom. Pretty clean overall & we enjoyed our stay. Very overpriced though & the host is nice overall but can be very unpleasant & unprofessional under a bit of stress. No offense whatsoever, just our opinion. Would consider staying again at a very much lower price & minus all the dang spiders. My fiancé was terrified, again no offense at all to the host. Seems like a nice lady under the right circumstances....

When a place lists it has space for 6 to sleep but doesn’t spell out that two of those spaces are tiny fold out cots; we assumed there was a fold out couch. Also being located in one of the snow capitals and there was no shovel to clear the 8 or so inches of snow received during our stay. The soap dispenser in the half bath downstairs doesn’t function.
