"The host was helpful to let us drop off things early as I misread check in time. The place is large and lots of space. They have a cockroach problem in the area, and made stay difficult with them all over dead and alive to make sure my toddler didn’t eat them. Overall nice house, but just be aware of that issue with small children and pets as the smell of bug spray was pretty evident all around the inside of the house. "

The only outlet socket replaced is in the very small sink area. We reported that the toilet did not flush properly. They provided us with a toilet plunger. And when we requested maintenance, it still did not flush properly. The staff seemed ambivalent to our request, and when we reported the issue at checkout, they didn't seem to care. The breakfast area has very little seating, so we forfeited our free breakfast and ate at Cafe Sophia two mornings. Socorro didn't appear to have many sleeping accommodations, if you look elsewhere. It had at least ten Tesla charging stations Best Western Corporate needs to evaluate this property. The electrical outlets in the rooms may be dangerous because they are so old. "

"Fantastic property!!! The cabin has rustic charm and was exceptionally clean!!! If you want to get away from hustle and bustle, this is the place. It is fully-equipped and pet friendly. Our family had a great time. Spent the day fishing Lake Roberts Tue 3/17\. Then, hiked Railroad Canyon Trail on Wed 3/18\. There is also a really beautiful canyon trail that heads up right where the access road to the cabin meets the main road. The star gazing is second-to-none. The cabin has a big kitchen, good beds, a beautiful deck and many nice features. We really wished we could stay longer but have an all day drive back home and life is calling. Definitely recommended!!!"
