"We had such a lovely stay at Blue Elephant in Almyrida! The location is peaceful and quiet, about 45–50 minutes from Chania (CHQ) airport, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The absolute highlight was the staff – they were genuinely some of the friendliest and most helpful we’ve ever met. Communication before, during, and even after our stay was excellent, and they always made us feel so welcome. The hotel itself is very clean and calm, best suited for couples or adults. My partner loved relaxing by the pool, while I made use of the small gym (don’t expect heavy weights, but it’s great for a hotel gym). Breakfast was really good, with enough variety even for us as vegetarians/vegans. The only small thing that could be improved would be having a few more veggie/vegan options on the lunch menu, but with so many restaurants in town, it wasn’t a problem. They don’t do dinner, but again, the local options were fantastic. Overall, it’s perfect for a 5–6 day relaxing holiday. We will definitely be coming back in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break in Crete."

We had the junior suite with a swimming pool, spacious and elegant. You almost don’t want to leave your room. Manos, the operations manager was warm, caring and welcoming. "The staff at the hotel are very accommodating and friendly, helping you with anything you need. Our room was well proportioned, although we could have done with some more storage space for our clothing. We were situated on the ground floor right near the activity pool, which was perfect for us with teens. The staff were helpful before we even got to the hotel by answering questions via Whats App, and booking the onsite restaurants for us. We can highly recommend a trip to the Agreco Farm for dinner, The White (adults only fine dining), and Asia White - although all of the food, including the buffet, was excellent. Our family of four (with two teens) had a very relaxing holiday with the Grecotel LUXME White. Special mention to Sophia on reception and Dora in the spa, and another lady behind the front desk (whose name I can’t remember) who helped us on our departure day and getting some medicine for my husband. Would highly recommend :)"
