« 'Elevators made carrying luggage solo much easier than expected while laundry rooms were tidy and accessible anytime we needed them.' »

« Nearby vending machines were fully stocked and straightforward to use. »

« Checkin was frustrating. The receptionist was rude and not very informative. He acted as though I’ve never checked into a hotel, very condescending. I told him it was difficult to find, because the Expedia listing doesn’t list the name. He didn’t care. The checkout was at 10, the earliest over ever seen. »

« Brooks’s place is a true respite in the beautiful Oakland hills. Tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, it offers amazing privacy and exceptional quiet—for the first time in a while, I slept without earplugs! You have the entire lower floor to yourself. Although there’s a home above, Brooks wasn’t on the property during my stay, so it felt like I had the whole place to myself. He has thought of absolutely everything, and I was able to settle in and get some deep work done. The neighborhood is...

« Rafael was super prompt and helpful! Some of the most effective communication I've had with a VRBO/other platform host. The location was really nice and affordable relative to other options in Oakland, especially convenient that there is an on-site parking lot. Would definitely recommend if you need a comfortable stay in the area! »

« Soundproof windows blocked most noise enabling restful nights together enjoying peaceful sleep throughout time spent here »

« When we checked in, front desk told us that we don’t have any reservations with them. He said they don’t make reservations online and with Expedia. Had to get another hotel. »

« It was nice that the TV remote had working batteries waiting so no delay getting started watching shows upon arrival late evening. Quiet surroundings helped me recharge overnight too. »

« This unit was very clean and it's located right in the middle of everything you could want - within 15 minutes of Todos Santos Plaza, the Sunvalley Shopping Center, etc. The kitchen is well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook most of our meals. Carlos is a friendly and gracious host and was quite responsive to our messages. We would stay here again. »

« The check-in was tricky since the lock on the outside door is not the one to use. Did not mention in notes provided. The driveway to the parking spot is long and narrow with no room to turn your vehicle around. So you will be backing out a long distance with not much room for our rented Corolla. Three times blocked in at the end of driveway for people illegally parking. I know that is not the host to control but be prepared to wait up to a hour. Place was nice but it was loud since your...

« Checked in late within two minutes. Used the laundry room next morning , it's convenient and reliable. Pool looked tidy from outside which added to pleasant grounds. Parking was easy on ground level making unloading smooth and hassle-free. »

« Super tasty snacks and drinks! »

« Towels were provided and parking was convenient to find. The bed was large and comfortable enough for two with space to work at the desk as well. »

« This cute studio is close to many eateries, stores, the BART and a walking path, with nature areas a few minutes drive away. It’s clean, attractive and the court is a nice feature. Cozy is a good description of Gilda’s place.\We enjoyed our stay here! »

« Friendly service made all the difference! »

« Very charming one bedroom with loft! We were two adults and 5 kids. We had a comfortable one-night stay and everything we needed was provided. My teen daughter slept with me in the main bedroom. My husband took the pull out couch and my son and nephew took the loft bed. We were a little worried about air circulation in the unit because there's only one window that you can open with a screen. At night we placed a fan in the kitchen window and turned the fan on in the main bedroom and left the...

« Good value spot with pet-friendly rules letting us bring our dog along without extra stress. »

« Laundry nearby made this place handy, rooms were simple but met all basic needs clearly. »
