"This is a beautiful, clean home. We traveled with our cat, Frankie, and he settled in immediately. Home is exactly as described and then some. Really beautiful. We were close enough to the beach and downtown, as well as Paper Moon Winery, yet enjoyed a quiet neighborhood. Host very reponsive. Will definitely return. BW"

This cottage is special because we could bring our puppy and take him to the beach nearby. We rented a golf cart to drive into town, but even without the cart the location of the cottage provides proximity to town, the state park and the glacial grooves. "This is a rustic place, but nice. Kitchen is large and bathroom is good sized. Two things to consider before booking: 1. You need to bring your own towels and bedding. 2.You need to pay entry fees and parking to stay in Lakeside. It was $90/day for two adults, two children and on-site parking during the summer. You will be asked for your admission when entering and leaving. Lakeside is nice, and it was very homey. "

"I highly recommend a stay at "Lovely Lakeside"! Everything was exactly as advertised--or better! The location is perfect--a quick walk to the lake, The Patio, and everything else downtown. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed having two separate living areas for a group of six adults and one toddler. The deck and backyard were perfect for toddler play in the afternoon and grownup conversation in the evening. The house was well-equipped for cooking, the bathrooms were clean...

"The cottage was very clean and convenient to all the Lakeside fun, without blocks and blocks of walking. The owners are in the house next door and truly could not have been kinder or more helpful. The only slight drawback was that the AC was window units in the living area and the master bedroom. The second bedroom was quite warm, especially with the morning sun coming through the block window. We got some fans and were good. Of course, the best part was being able to bring our beloved pup!"
