"We felt calm and comfortable the moment we walked in. Check in information was timely and easy. The view of Pigeon Lake as we walked in was beautiful. Lakeside Nest was a great location for our historic Michigan quest (county seats and historical markers) and Shipshewana for Indiana. We loved our afternoons/evenings by the lake. We like nature and the sounds of birds and frogs brought peace. The water was warm and we swam some, grilled, played corn hole and fire two nights. We had everything we needed and a gift of a smores kit which our 17 year old loved (as we forgot to bring those items). These few days were the reset we needed. Hopefully we can return next year!"
