"Our stay was excellent but this is definitely for folks who want to experience something different and we are glad we stayed here. It’s an adorable rustic cabin on a well maintained property of other cute cabins. So no extra amenities per se. Room and bathroom were clean if tiny. Bed was comfortable. Coffee shop on property is convenient. Get the homemade cinnamon bun! Loved being able to order a boxed lunch for our next day transit bus tour in Denali). Convenient to Denali. Happy we stayed at this unique property!!"

"We stayed in the motel section of the property. The room had two beds: twin and full size. The full size was kind of a short one. I am 6'1" and had to sleep diagonally. The rooms only have small portable electric heaters, the room was warm. There are no chairs or tables in the rooms however there is a common area with tables, chairs, microwave and electric kettle. Only 6 miles from entrance to Denali NP."

"Very basic cabin but as described. It would be quite easy to elevate the interior by adding comforters and 2 pillows on each bed. When we stayed there, the grounds were mostly dirt because the owner was in the process of building another cabin. We brought the chairs outside to have coffee in the morning but the deck wasn't facing the best view so we put them on the grass on the side of the cabin that faced the view. All that said, I texted the owner with a request to bring more pillows and blankets and he brought them in his pretty awesome ATV very quickly.It is an Alaska experience so if that's what you're looking for...it's perfect!"

"We could not have found a better view for the price. The cabin itself was clean and felt rather new, with the exception of a broken chair that was pushed under the bench on the front porch. The compost toilet was a bit further of a walk than I was expecting, especially in the pitch dark. We enjoyed being off grid, sipping a drink and marveling at the view from the front porch."

10/10 Excellent

"Quiet place away from the activity of the hotels near Denali but still an easy distance to get to the park. Not huge but the deck is nice and it has everything you need and way more comfortable than a hotel room. Kitchen pans are much better than described from previous reviews."
