A great stay: clean, comfortable, and walking distance to food, shops, and attractions. The owners are responsive and allowed us to leave our rental car in lot while we were on a jeep tour. Loved the view of the mountains outside our window!
Of course, lodging so close to the park is expensive, and this basic, but comfortable, property is no exception. The location is great. The staff was friendly and helpful.
One of the beds had such a deep divot that it was uncomfortable to sleep in.
The property was a little rustic, but quite satisfactory and clean. The best part of this stay was the staff. Jace was a fountain of useful information, giving us the lay of the land, from what there is to do, timing and the best way to get there. He picked us up at the train station when we arrived and delivered us back there at the end of our stay.
Jace was very helpful and outstanding. He met us at train depot and helped with logistics for our short visit. Convenient access and availability for activities, food amd gifts

Stayed two nights, it was okay. Our room was located on the 2nd floor, spacious enough for two people. Close proximity to the park. However, there are no elevators. Walls are thin and you can hear music from the business downstairs but not a big issue if you're out during the day as they shut the music down in the evening around 9. Front desk was helpful.
Everything was easy! Their shuttle took me from and to the train station. A short walk across the street was another free shuttle to and from the Denali Visitor Center. Motel is located on the boardwalk with several restaurants and gift shops. Room was clean.
The staff was very accommodating and picked us up at the train station. The office closed at 8pm but we made it in time. It is located next to many shops and restaurants. Overall a good experience for a short trip to visit Denali NP.
No bells and whistles here but it’s a clean property very close to Denali national park and has a lot of breakfast and lunch/dinner options within walking distance.
It was close to everything & a bunch of food places right there. The room was clean. The bed was on harder side & they charge for WiFi connection. My cell phone luckily had 5G.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Disliked: Staff & service
Good location, room was clean. Shower was hot, good water pressure. Coffee pot with Kcups in the room was nice. Bed was ok, pillows were awful! Asked for 2 extra pillows, only brought us one and that pillow was awful too. Would have had a much better experience if they invested in better pillows.
This was a great place to stay if you want to be close to shops, restaurants, activities and to Denali National Park. When you are in Alaska there is so much to see and do, so having a comfortable bed to sleep on at night is all that is important.
We enjoyed some of the nearby restaurants and gift shops. A lot of fun activities to do nearby. We were able to get a free shuttle back and forth to the train.
Room was worn out dirty. Old carpet dirty. Mold around shower. Needs a total remodel. No lobby. Check in is 4:00 NO EXCEPTIONS. even when the room was done and ready. We had to sneak in to the room to get in early. That’s customer service?? . The shuttle driver was incredibly nice very helpful and accommodating. Thanks to the driver we had an okay stay. Stay at the princess inn or somewhere else.!
