My stay at a motel in Gore, was largely positive, thanks to its impressive cleanliness and great location. The room and public areas were well-maintained, adding to the comfort of my stay. Its prime location in Gore made accessing local sights and necessities easy. However, the room could be improved with the addition of a bedside lamp, which was noticeably missing and would have been convenient for evening activities like reading. Despite this, I would recommend the motel for its overall value and comfort.

Traditional motel with exceptional update
Nothing to fault in our newly, completely refurbished unit. Everything is new and carefully thought out. The manager had the heating on ready for us, on a chilly evening. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay in Gore. Excellent location. As a return guest I receive awesome personal service with heating turned on prior to arrival on cold winter days. Netflix in room. Electric blankets in winter.

Riverlea Motel is very clean and I wondered if it was new. A loveley spacious studio, the only small gripe is the heater was on a 3hr timer so it went off in the middle of the night. Very handy location and very friendly and informative staff.

Good place to stop-over in Gore
Just spent the one night here whilst travelling from Doubtful Sound to Dunedin. The room was spacious and very comfortable, the manager very helpful and the parking easy.The town centre is a short walk away with a variety of shops. It was here that I discovered supermarkets in Southland do not sell spirits and you have to get these from a liquor store.

We had a over night stay after a lovely wedding in Gore. We had a very nice stay at this motel. It was very clean and comfortable. It was in a very good location for us. Booking in was very easy and the lady was very plesant and nice to deal with. The unit had everything that we needed. These units are very well kept for there age.
